Junior Hoilett made his QPR debut in a 1-1 draw with Trabzonspor in a pre-season friendly in Germany.

Kieron Dyer also made his first start in almost a year as Shaun Wright-Phillips' late strike earned Rangers a share of the spoils against the Turkish side.

The Turks dominated the opening exchanges before Hoilett won the Rs first chance of the night but shot wide from 15 yards.

Darren Mackie brought a good save from Tolga Zengin on 35 minutes as Rangers took control of the match late in the first half.

However, their possession failed to bear fruit and they fell behind 12 minutes after the restart when Volkan Sen beat the offside trap and lifted the ball over Robert Green.

Djibril Cisse just failed to get a touch in a goalmouth scramble as the Premier League side pressed for an equaliser while Green did well to prevent Robert Vittek adding a second.

The leveller came eight minutes from time when, shortly after a failed penalty appeal, Wright-Phillips was released by Michael Doughty and he drilled into the bottom corner while Cisse almost grabbed a winner moments later.
