Rangers goalkeeper Grant Adam appeared in court on Friday accused of a sectarian breach of the peace.
Adam, 20, is alleged to have conducted himself in a disorderly manner by swearing, singing and chanting sectarian slogans in Ingram Street, Glasgow in the early hours of November 6.
Adam, who denies the charge, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Dressed in a black suit and white shirt, the footballer spoke only to confirm his name.
The case, due to go to trial today, was adjourned following legal discussions between the Crown and the defence.
Adam, who is on loan to Lanarkshire side Airdrie United, was released on bail and will now be tried in May.
He has been a member of the Old Firm club since leaving school.
