West Ham forward Paul McCallum is set to join Rochdale on a youth loan deal pending Football League and FA approval.
The 18-year-old will stay at Spotland until March 4.
McCallum joined the Hammers from Dulwich Hamlet on January transfer deadline day a year ago.
In a further deal between the two clubs, Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Kurucz has had his loan at Spotland extended until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old joined Dale on an emergency loan earlier this month and has featured six times for the npower League One outfit.
