Rochdale goalkeeper Matt Edwards has agreed a 12-month contract extension to remain at Spotland.
Edwards, who joined Dale from Leeds in 2009, will now remain in the north west until June 2013.
The deal completes a memorable week for the 20-year-old.
On Saturday boss John Coleman called on Edwards to make his third start for the club in the dramatic come-from-behind victory over fellow League One relegation candidates Exeter.
Two days later he received a call-up to Billy Stark's Scotland Under-21 squad for the game against Italy at Easter Road on April 25.
Liverpudlian Edwards qualifies for Scotland as his grandmother was born in the country.
