Rotherham manager Steve Evans hopes to complete his second and third summer signings this week.
Evans, appointed as previous boss Andy Scott's replacement early last month, drafted in Exeter striker Daniel Nardiello last week and is expecting to step up his recruitment drive.
"I'm pleased to confirm that subject to satisfactory medicals and no sudden changes of mind on the players' part we will add two new players to the squad," Evans told the club's official website.
"The first signing will hopefully be completed and announced on Tuesday, the second just 24 hours later."
Evans added: "I have a few others scheduled in the diary over the next few weeks so you can say it is a very busy time but I cannot stress enough the importance of player and staff recruitment.
"In addition, I will make two formal significant bids for two players who I believe would be outstanding for us, but there is much work to be done for those lads to be at Rotherham United."
