Defender Troy Brown has penned a one-year deal with Aldershot on the same day he was released by Rotherham.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful stint with Dean Holdsworth's side last season where he made 17 appearances.
The Millers agreed to release Brown from his contract earlier on Thursday as manager Steve Evans admitted he would struggle for game time at New York Stadium.
And Brown has found another home after agreeing to return to the Recreation Ground where he spent the latter half of the last campaign.
Manager Dean Holdsworth told the Shots' official website: "This is fantastic news for the club and it is great news that Troy has signed. I am looking forward to working with him again."
