Chairman Tony Stewart is urging the people of Rotherham to be part of the club's historic move to the New York Stadium.
There has already been a surge in season-ticket sales leading up the inaugural game at the new venue against Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on Saturday, which is sold out.
But Stewart is encouraging more people to buy ahead of what promises to be an exciting League Two campaign for the Millers.
He told the club's official website: "When will an event like this ever happen again? It's a once in a lifetime event for a club to move into a brand-new home.
"When your children and grandchildren are claiming their seats for the stadium in years to come, wouldn't it be fantastic to tell them that you were there for the first ever season.
"This is a momentous occasion, and one that will never be matched."
