TEAMtalk rates Scotland's players as Billy Stark's side claimed a 2-1 victory away to Luxembourg in Wednesday's international friendly.
Matt Gilks: Good handling overall and left with no chance from Lars Gerson's free-kick. Was busier than he might have anticipated. 7
Steven Whittaker: The right-back could not get forward as much as he would have liked. 6
Paul Dixon: Always looking to overlap, the Huddersfield full-back sent over some decent crosses including one which led to the opener. 6
Christophe Berra: The Wolves defender's experience was needed in the second half. 6
Grant Hanley: Looked unsure at times on the ground and gave away several free-kicks in dangerous positions in the air. 5
Charlie Mulgrew: The Celtic player imposed himself in central midfield and kept possession well before making way at half-time. 7
Darren Fletcher: Some slack passing initially and was lacking support in the heart of midfield after the break. 6
Andrew Shinnie: The debutant gave away the ball on his first few attacks but played a crucial part in the second goal. 5
Steven Naismith: Did not find it easy to get into the game and was frustrated by some hefty tackles in the second half. 5
Jordan Rhodes: Has a knack of being in the right place as he scored a double to take his Scotland tally to three. Only an offside flag denied him a hat-trick. 8
Kenny Miller: Linked up well at times up front before being moved wide right for the last 20 minutes. 6
Substitutes
Liam Kelly: The Kilmarnock midfielder's foul seconds into his Scotland debut led to the Luxembourg goal and had most of his work to do just inside his own half. 5
Leigh Griffiths: Came on in the 70th minute for his debut but only had one brief sight of goal with an ambitious volley that flew wide. 5
Murray Davidson: Brought on for an injury-time debut. Not enough time to earn a rating.
