Team news for Friday night's Scottish Premier League clash between Dundee and Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Dens Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

Inverness captain Richie Foran will miss the clash with the knee injury that forced him off during the derby win over Ross County.

But goalkeeper Ryan Esson and midfielder Shane Sutherland have returned to training following injury with the latter playing 90 minutes for the under-20s in midweek.

Simon King (ankle), Chris Hogg (knee) and Nick Ross (shoulder) remain on the sidelines.

Lewis Toshney again looks like missing out for Dundee when Inverness visit in the SPL.

The on-loan Celtic full-back has been troubled by an ankle problem in recent weeks.

Stephen O'Donnell (hamstring), Mark Stewart (knee), Carl Finnigan (knee) and Jamie McCluskey (Achilles) are still out.
