Team news ahead of Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash between Dundee United and Aberdeen at Tannadice.

Dundee United are still without injured winger Gary Mackay-Steven, who is stepping up his rehabilitation from a recent knee operation.

Former Rangers defender Gregory Vignal is building up his fitness but is not ready for his first-team debut yet.

Aberdeen will be without Ryan Jack after he suffered a broken foot while on international duty with the Scotland under-21s. The youngster will be sidelined until the end of January.

Craig Brown otherwise expects to name a similar squad to the one which defeated Kilmarnock in their last outing.
