Midfielders Ryan Stevenson and Mehdi Taouil are doubts due to illness for Hearts' Scottish Premier League clash with St Mirren at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Manager John McGlynn has been without a number of players due to international duty, including Ryan McGowan who played for Australia in South Korea on Wednesday, but goalkeeper Mark Ridgers is available again after playing for the under-20s in midweek following a knee injury.

Right-back Jamie Hamill (knee) is still unavailable.

St Mirren will welcome back captain Jim Goodwin for their visit to Tynecastle.

Goodwin missed out on last weekend's 4-1 defeat to Aberdeen after being ordered off against Hibernian at Easter Road.

Long-term absentees Paul McGowan, Darren McGregor and Grant Adam remain sidelined.
