Defender Sean Dillon is again out as Dundee United tackle St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League on Boxing Day (kick-off 12pm).

The Irishman has missed the last four games with a troublesome thigh injury and could be absent until after the winter break.

Winger Gary Mackay-Steven remains out with a broken hand.

Chris Millar is doubtful with a groin injury for St Johnstone.

Millar was replaced by Paddy Cregg midway through the first half of the loss to Aberdeen on Saturday.

Winger Peter Pawlett is available again after missing the match with his parent club, but Jamie Adams (back) and his fellow midfielder David Robertson (broken leg) remain out.
