Sheffield Wednesday defender Rob Jones has left the club by mutual consent just a year after joining the Owls on a permanent deal.
Jones arrived at Hillsborough initially on loan in March 2011 from Scunthorpe before signing a contract the following summer.
The former Wednesday skipper made a total of 45 appearances, scoring five goals along the way.
