Shrewsbury's reward for winning promotion to League One is an ominous opening-day trip to favourites Sheffield United.
The Shrews, who finished second in League Two last season, make the visit to Bramall Lane before back-to-back home games with Preston and Tranmere.
They host Coventry at the Greenhous Meadow on September 18 and neighbours Crewe on November 17, with the respective reverse fixtures at the Ricoh Arena on New Year's Day and Gresty Road on March 16.
Boxing Day sees Notts County travel to Shropshire, with Brentford making the same journey three days later.
The curtain comes down on their season when they host Portsmouth on April 27.
