Micky Mellon has no new injury worries at Shrewsbury as they chase the title on the final day.

Town are two points behind leaders Burton in the race for the League Two title having earned promotion last week.

Keith Southern has shaken off a knee problem and is available for Shrewsbury, who have won 89 points this season.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival and James Wesolowski are long-term injury lay-offs and are expected back next term.

Plymouth are set to leave Reuben Reid at home as their thoughts turn to the play-offs.

Their top scorer had an injection in his foot this week and will now be given a rest in a bid to make sure the former Yeovil man is firing for their semi-finals.

Ansah and Ryan Brunt are likely to compete to replace Reid upfront while defenders Carl McHugh and Peter Hartley are set to keep their places despite suffering with knocks in recent weeks.

Kelvin Mellor was recalled in place of Gethin Jones for their 3-2 win over Tranmere last weekend and looks set to keep his place.

Shrewsbury will be without summer signing Joe Jacobson and striker Tom Bradshaw for their season opener.

Left-back Jacobson, snapped up from Accrington, starts a three-match suspension having been sent off in Stanley’s play-off semi-final second-leg defeat to Stevenage in May.

Bradshaw, meanwhile, has been ruled out for up to six weeks having damaged cruciate knee ligaments in a 2-0 pre-season victory over a Wolves XI at the end of July.

Marvin Morgan, James Collins and Terry Gornell – whose transfer fee was finally agreed between Shrews and Accrington on Thursday – will battle to start in attack, with winger Lionel Ainsworth another option for a striking role.

Skipper Ian Sharps is expected to be okay to start having recently missed 10 days of training with a groin problem.

Plymouth boss Peter Reid is set to hand a debut to new signing Warren Feeney.

Argyle completed the signing of the Northern Ireland international on Thursday following his release from Oldham.

The 30-year-old striker has signed a one-year deal, and Reid said: “Warren’s an experienced player with plenty of energy.

“I’m delighted to have him on board – he’s fit and ready to play on Saturday before going away with Northern Ireland next week.”

Robbie Williams, Durrell Berry, Jake Cole and Luke Daley also joined the Pilgrims during the summer while Middlesbrough teenager Ben Gibson has signed on a three-month loan deal.

Gibson will join up with England Under-18’s team-mate Curtis Nelson at Home Park.
