Stevenage manager Gary Smith believes their astonishing 6-0 win to Yeovil has revived their League One play-off hopes.
It was Boro's first win in eight games and Yeovil's biggest defeat since 1998 when they lost a non-league match at Hayes.
Smith agreed the sending off of Yeovil midfielder Michael Woods in the 33rd minute when the score was 1-0 was "a pivotal moment in the game".
He said: "We started well, going in front for the first time in six or eight weeks. The guys showed a real intensity and passion.
"There was a feeling in the dressing room (when it was 2-0 at half-time) that if we could get a win, given the scheduling around the league, we might just revive our hopes for that sixth spot and I think it probably has."
