Peterborough United will face Stevenage in a pre-season friendly later this summer.
The fixture will take place at the Lamex Stadium on August 4 and kick-off at 3pm.
The two clubs played each other last season in the League Cup when a 120th-minute penalty by Lee Tomlin gave Posh a 4-3 victory in a seven-goal thriller at Stevenage.
Boro had hoped to be facing Peterborough in the league during the 2012/13 campaign but Gary Smith's side lost to Sheffield United in the League One play-offs.
