Crawley manager Sean O'Driscoll is hoping to hold talks with Torquay's Eunan O'Kane about a possible deal to move to the League One club.

The League One newcomers have made an approach for the midfielder, who scored five goals in 51 games for Martin Ling's side last term.

O'Driscoll told BBC Sport: "We've put in an offer for Eunan but he's away on holiday. I think he's back next Monday and he's due to come down.

"He's bright and did really well last year in an unfashionable Torquay side.

"Under Martin Ling, they did fantastically last season. They've been well managed and well coached and have got one or two players who clubs in higher divisions would look at.

"Eunan is attractive because of his age and the fact we can develop him. As a character, he ticks a few boxes for me. He'll hopefully see it as a step to eventually play in the Premier League. If he's got a career plan, hopefully we'll be a part of it."
