Torquay defender Mark Ellis has still not decided if he will extend his stay at the club, says manager Martin Ling.
Ellis, 23, will become a free agent on June 21 if he does not sign a new deal, although the Gulls will be owed compensation if he joins another club as he is under 24.
He made 40 appearances for the Plainmoor club last season, becoming a mainstay of the side from the middle of October.
"The offer's been on the table since January and the offer's still the same as January," Ling told BBC Sport.
"There's no decision from Mark and I've had no football club approach me about Mark.
"It's an ongoing saga, Mark hasn't come up with an answer, but he has to give us an offer one way or another."
