Eunan O'Kane looks set to complete his move from Torquay to Crawley in the near future after successful talks with Sean O'Driscoll.
The Irishman met O'Driscoll earlier this week to discuss a potential switch, and now just needs to agree personal terms.
Torquay boss Martin Ling told BBC Sport: "He's met the football club and talked about everything but money.
"Now he's going back to meet them to talk about money, so obviously the football club's sold itself to him that it's the right club for his career."
O'Kane joined the Gulls in 2010 from Coleraine and made over 120 appearances for the club. He was named in the League Two team of the year last season.
