TEAMtalk rates the Chelsea and Tottenham players after watching the Blues win 5-1 in their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday.
Tottenham
CARLO CUDICINI: Assured on the ball when played to feet by defenders. No chance with Didier Drogba's strike and made a couple of decent second-half stops. 7
KYLE WALKER: Did not offer as much going forward as usual but reliable in defensive duties. 6
WILLIAM GALLAS: Arguably should have been stronger against Drogba for the opening goal. 6
LEDLEY KING: A positive for Spurs to have their captain back and looked much more assured than in defeat to Norwich. 7
BENOIT ASSOU-EKOTTO: Like Walker he did not get forward as his normal game dictates. 6
AARON LENNON: Produced glimmers of his talent in easily beating David Luiz in first half but drifted out of the match. 6
SCOTT PARKER: Lucky to avoid a caution in the first half and powerless to stop Chelsea marching towards the final. 6
LUKA MODRIC: Did not see enough of the ball in the area of the pitch where he can cause the most damage. 6
GARETH BALE: On hand to tap-in and bring Spurs back into the match. Caused trouble on both flanks in fits and starts. 7
RAFAEL VAN DER VAART: Posed Spurs' best attacking threat. Had a header cleared off the line and his deep cross hit the post at 0-0. 7
EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR: Largely wasteful in possession early on but played vital role in Bale's goal. 7
Substitutes:
JERMAIN DEFOE (for van der Vaart, 75): Little chance to make an impact. 5
SANDRO (for Parker, 90): No chance to get involved. 4.
Chelsea
PETR CECH: Would have seen red for bringing down Adebayor if Bale had not been allowed to tap-in. Largely untroubled. 7
JOSE BOSINGWA: Struggled with threat and pace of Bale in early stages but improved as game wore on. 7
DAVID LUIZ: Looked strong but was caught out of position for Bale's goal. Replaced by Gary Cahill when he pulled up injured. 6
JOHN TERRY: Solid as ever and will look forward to leading Chelsea out at Wembley in yet another final. 7
ASHLEY COLE: Another attacking full-back who did not see enough action further up the field. 6
JOHN OBI MIKEL: Did not boss midfield as his manager Roberto Di Matteo would have liked. 6
FRANK LAMPARD: Always involved in the action going forwards and delivered pass that set up Drogba's opening strike before scoring a superb free-kick. 8
RAMIRES: Ineffectual in large parts until he scored the vital third goal. 7
JUAN MATA: Awarded Chelsea's dubious second goal by referee Martin Atkinson. Fluffed his lines when through in the first half. 7
SALOMON KALOU: Did not get on the scoresheet but set up Mata and Drogba with good chances. 6
DIDIER DROGBA: Scored his seventh goal at the new Wembley with aplomb and looked lively leading the line throughout. 8
Substitutes
GARY CAHILL (for David Luiz, 59): Enjoyed a comfortable time as Ramires and Lampard made sure of the win. 6
FLORENT MALOUDA (for Ramires, 82): Wasted good chance to set up Torres before scoring his side's fifth in injury time. 6
FERNANDO TORRES (for Drogba, 84): Little time, or need, to make an impact. 5
