Tranmere boss Les Parry remains bullish his side are on the verge of turning round their fortunes despite a 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth.
Fortuitous goals from Wes Thomas and Marc Pugh after Martin Devaney had given Rovers the lead meant their absymal record away from Prenton Park continued, having lost their last four from the Wirral.
But Parry said: "Not once this season have we been turned over by our opposition. It's just things continue not to fall our way.
"The difference in this league between winning and losing is by a single hair. A mistake there, a great finish, a referee decision - it's these things that are the difference between us and Charlton at the top of the table."
Parry added: "They've scored two scrawny goals and (Paul) Rachubka has hardly been worked throughout the game. We should have been three-up before the equalised.
"There were elements of poor play from us, but again I can't fault the effort from the lads."
