Tranmere full-back Zoumana Bakayogo will be out for another fortnight after suffering a further setback in his injury rehabilitation.

A persistent knee problem has interrupted Bakayogo's season, but a new problem with his shin forced him under the knife last week.

"Zoom had an operation to remove a cyst on his shin last week and had to spend a couple of days in hospital," manager Les Parry told Tranmere Player.

"He's got a hole in his shin now where they took it out and he can't stress it until it has completely healed, so he's still a couple of weeks away.

"That shows the range of problems we've had this season, that's a first for me in the years I've been here.

"We've missed Zoom. I know he hasn't been playing but he gives us great options. The sooner he's back, the better."
