Tranmere skipper John Welsh remains adamant the current squad can turn around their poor form.
Rovers have won just one of their previous 14 npower League One encounters after a run of three successive triumphs back in October.
Les Parry's side have netted just 13 times in those 14 games and Welsh believes his side's inability to find the net is the crux of their problem.
"The issue is scoring goals," he told the Liverpool Echo. "We have been playing okay, we just seem to be having trouble scoring goals.
"We are creating chances and we can't seem to score enough from them. It is the killer instinct we seem to lack.
"We just have to be as positive as we can. One result can turn it around for us. We've got the players here to do it and hopefully it will turn around soon."
