Ronnie Moore will look to bolster the attacking options available in his Tranmere squad during the summer transfer market.

A pair of strikers are the prime objective for Moore - who began a third spell in the Prenton Park hotseat in March - while he would also like strengthen his resources on the wings.

"Everybody can see we need a striker," he told Rovers' official website. "We need two strikers, a couple of wingers with pace and a couple of midfielder players - so it's a nice summer for us.

"You used to be able to pinch players out of the non-league but you can't do it now. They're all on decent money and they all want transfer fees.

"You know what you want but it's getting it. If you can't get it then you want someone with a little bit of pace, try and coach him, put (in) a little bit of hard work and maybe when the season begins get one or two loans.

"It's going to be hard with the wide men, but we've got (Lucas) Akins and (Adam) McGurk there so it's not as if we're desperate to bring them in. It's just competition for everybody."
