Bradshaw set for Walsall return

The Saddlers have scored just three in their last 10 games and are two points above the League One drop zone.

Bradshaw missed the two 0-0 draws with Notts County and Peterborough over Easter with a hamstring problem.

But boss Dean Smith expects the 16-goal striker to make his comeback for the visit of Fleetwood on Saturday.

“It gives us a big boost that Tom is fit. He’s been doing rehab with (physio) Jon Whitney,” he told the Wolverhampton Express & Star.

“He will be in today (Tuesday) and Wednesday and then doing some training with us on Thursday and Friday.

“We’ve done all the tests that you can do on it (the hamstring). We’ve got total trust in the medical people. We’ve just got to hope that it holds up until the end of the season.”

The Saddlers have netted just 36 goals in the league this season – the lowest in the division – and Smith admitted his side are apprehensive.

He said: “I think some of the lads look maybe a little bit nervous in front of goal at the moment because they can feel the pressure that’s building.

“I don’t think it’s playing on their minds, I just think they know that there is a pressure there.”
