West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans is battling to be fit for Sunday's derby at Wolves after undergoing a scan on a hip muscle injury.
The Scottish international has been unable to train so far this week and joins striker Shane Long (back and digestive problems) as the main doubt to face Mick McCarthy's side.
Baggies head coach Roy Hodgson said: "Graham went for a scan. He's got a problem with a muscle above his hip.
"The doctor doesn't think it is that serious but he hasn't trained so far this week and it will be an end of the week decision on him."
Hodgson is hoping Long, who has not started a game since early December, will be able to resume full training on Thursday after his double setback.
But Hodgson added: "He's had two quite serious knockbacks and we can't throw him straight back in there and we have to take it day by day."
