Roger Johnson believes the next five games are crucial to Wolves' survival hopes - starting with Sunday's derby with West Brom at Molineux.
Mick McCarthy's side also face home games with Blackburn and Manchester United and away meetings with Newcastle and Fulham during that period.
Wolves moved out of the bottom three thanks to the weekend win at QPR but central defender Johnson knows there is still much work to be done.
He said: "It was a massive win on Saturday, a must-win game. Everyone was aware of that, the manager, players, and supporters after losing at home to Liverpool in mid-week.
"But, for me, the next five games are massive.
"We've got West Brom this weekend and then Newcastle and Blackburn. For me, the next five games will determine our season."
