Gary Johnson is pleased with the way his first two weeks have gone back in the Yeovil manager's chair.

Johnson resumed control of the Huish Park side after a six-and-a-half-year absence on January 9, taking over the reins from former boss Terry Skiverton who became his assistant manager.

And generally the ex-Northampton and Bristol City chief has been happy with what he has seen at the Glovers, although he admits he is still after a few new faces to help aid Yeovil's fight against relegation from League One.

He said: "It's been good. Your first fortnight is spent working out what's here, what's gone on before and what's gone well - and there have been things that have gone well.

"There's a good staff here, there's a good management team and it just needs a little picking up - maybe with two or three players, which we've tried to do, and probably two or three more.

"The two weeks have been spent doing that and then reporting back the board in a couple of weeks time, and hopefully from there we'll have even more awareness of how to kick on."
