Gary Johnson wants Yeovil to continue unearthing exceptional young talent at Huish Park.
In recent years the Glovers have benefited from a raft of on-loan starlets proving themselves in the lower leagues before making the step up into the top two tiers of English football.
And in the current economic climate, Yeovil boss Johnson is keen for his club to keep supporting the stars of the future rather than worrying about the size of their playing budget.
"We could moan that we can't go and buy Wayne Rooney for £50million but we've got to try to find that Wayne Rooney before he's worth that," Johnson said.
"I think I've done that over the years and it's a nice way of doing it. Sometimes you find a little gem before people have realised.
"All clubs are working within a budget and this club's no different. It's really important that clubs stay solvent nowadays and I think our club is in a good position."
