Yeovil manager Gary Johnson bemoaned his side's poor second-half showing in the 3-1 home defeat to Stevenage.

Goals from Filipe Morais, Lucas Akins and James Dunne handed Boro their sixth league victory on the road this season.

"It was a game of two halves for sure," said Johnson, who saw on-loan striker Paddy Madden bring his side level with a sixth-minute equaliser.

"We created chances and looked quite strong in the first half and were running the game. However, when Stevenage came out in the second half they put us under more pressure.

"We were aware they were going to do that, but unfortunately there's still too much inexperience in our group for them to take it all on board. We didn't create any goalmouth incidents in the second half to get the crowd behind us and that was really disappointing.

"I felt we would never have had a better chance to beat a Stevenage team who are in the top three or four because I thought we outplayed them in the first half. We've asked all the boys to take the video home and ask them why their game was so different in the second half to the first."
