Hutchinson was massive yesterday for Ipswich, has been the whole season but yesterday he was another level.

MM you can’t make comparisons after a few games, Drogba is way more of a decent player than Jackson will ever be, most of Drogbas initial games was on the bench so he played much less in terms of actual time on the field and although he also missed a few chances (who doesn’t?) it was not on the same scale our forwards are missing now and also may I add much easier chances. Lots of factors to consider before one can make comparisons between players, I would say the only player that came close to Drogba in more recent times was Costa. Of course there were players in the past before Drogbas time who were also real top class.

Nice win for us, still leaking goals tho, Palmer was great again but Mudryks cameo when he came on was the best. Plenty of potential there, one other problem we not dominate enough in the central midfield area. We allowing teams to come back at us a bit too much. Nice to see the keeper kicking the ball upfield when under pressure instead of trying suicidal passes. They must have instructed him.

Aindro the 2 keepers we have are not too bad either, I see so called top keepers like Allison and Ederson making even more errors especially with this nonsense of passing the ball to players under pressure. There are also some signs of improvement with Murdryk so maybe give him some more time. The rest that are not coming up to expectations have up to the remaining season to prove us doubters wrong and that includes Potchetino.

Blaze we were saying the same thing, Chillwill as an almost front 3 midfielder is a waste of space especially as you have specialised attacking midfielders in Sterling, Murdryk, Madueke on the bench and even though they are inconsistent they can surely do a better job than Chillwill in that area. And where’s Carney, is he injured again? How many more injuries are possible. We definitely going to have to find a striker somewhere at least one, some of the misses upfront are embarrassing and that applies to the whole team. Our centre halves play well but make vital errors. Also lot of never ending injuries there. I am still in support of Potchetino but unless results and performances improve quickly I’m afraid we going to be on the hunt for another manager. We a top 4 club not a mid-table club, this year is over and it will be a bit of a miracle if we win the FA cup even if we can get past Leicester the next one will be much more difficult. So they need to plan for next season and for the remainder of this season, check who should stay or who should go. Bear in mind if someone else comes in that further complicates matters cause he will want certain players of his liking. Not to mention the draconian FFP rules that will inhibit the club.

Our friend Dinamo always used to tell us Liverpool are the worst fans going, causing trouble everywhere they go making out like they know everything, I used to argue with him saying no United fans are the most narcissistic fans but guess he was right.

They also had their chances but we had more easier ones, rather lose by a goal then another penalty shootout.

Goodness we are useless in front of goals, we had so many chances and that goes for the whole team. Looks like another penalty shootout loss.

I certainly don’t want Mourinho back or Conte or Ancelotti or Tuchel for that matter, in life you need to move forward not backwards, these guys are winners at big clubs only otherwise they wouldn’t have much success especially Ancelotti. Under very difficult circumstances Potchetino has done ok not great I admit but let’s see where it all takes us. Maybe he is trying to entrust discipline into the side but some players don’t want to learn that, so he can hardly punish them maybe just tell them off. The youth of today is not the same as we were. Anyway if he is eventually sacked than we should go for a new man with new ideas.

After 30 minutes we should have been 2 up but we have useless strikers, that’s been our biggest problem the whole season and no doubt it’s going to cost us in this game as well. City also with a couple of chances as one would expect. We also a bit shaky in the back. Otherwise very good game so far.

Terrible first half with lot of aimless sideways and backwards passing. Top class performance 2nd half led by the talisman Gallagher. Hope these jekyll and Hyde performances can end and we can be more consistent throughout every game. Still need a striker badly, not only to score goals but who has that instinctive ability to deal with shots at goal and who can hold the ball, I’m afraid Jackson while a useful all round player is not the answer and there’s noone else.

As I predicted Villa were much better in the 2nd half but obviously still a great performance by all especially on their home ground, Enzo had a great game but still does stupid stuff like taking his top off knowing he will get carded. He and Caicedo combined well. Gallagher was brilliant in his all round role but I always believed Madueke could become a special player and we saw some of that last night, For me the defence is still somewhat suspect and I still believe we will need a prolific striker as soon as possible. Let’s see where we go from here without trying to bad luck the team by saying the next game is a must win which it is 😅.

Excellent first half by Chelsea against a good team, let’s hope we can keep it up and get this won. Normally good sides come right in the 2nd half when on their home turf. We will see what transpires.

Chris, MM you guys should also be blaming the government because ever since they outlawed Roman because of his connections to that dred Putin our luck has turned upside down which was understandable with all that chaos surrounding the club, noone has managed yet to recover the club and the first team to its previous heights, in fact the only team in the club that has not suffered as a result of all these consequences is the Woman’s team for some reason. But I still have hope although I don’t expect it too soon.

Tuchel, Conte, Mourinho were all sacked for much much less going wrong and we can go even further back in time with coaches who were fired for less. On current form I believe even Potter or Lampard could have gotten better results. I suspect they may bring in Mourinho after all they didn’t sack him and it will have the backing of most fans. Anyway it is what it it no point in fretting, only can get better despite us losing something like 5 home games against teams we should be beating home and away. No ways we can beat Liverpool in the league cup final or Villa in the FA cup replay.

An absolute disgrace losing 3 -1 at home to a 2nd rate team. At this rate it’s heading to relegation stakes. No excuses own goals is because we enable them to get chances to shot. Wonder what’s next cause there’s no way we going to get anything from this game.

Aindro Casadei mainly played as a sub but he came on in nearly every game and he also started a couple of games, he also managed to score 3 goals in the time he was allocated which isn’t bad for a more deeper laying central midfielder. To add Leicester are doing very well and certainties to be promoted back into the EPL so our club should not have brought him back unless his going to get game time and I can’t see it with Enzo, Caceido, Gallagher and others thereabouts. Not to mention we now have to play our strongest possible available team in every game.

Don’t know why they brought back Casadei cause he was getting decent game time at Leicester and doing reasonably well. Is he even going to get to play at Chelsea!.

I can’t remember when last Chillwill had a good game even when he was fit and playing. There is a core of half a team of good players that can still improve even more but I don’t know what they going to do to improve the other half. Looks like we can’t spend much more as per the draconian FFP rules and even if we could who is there? Stuck in no mans land.
