Nediarb2 – don’t give us that crap that your English.
If that was the case you’d refer to Us as ‘We’ and not “England”.

    Good post Stuilse @ 5:47pm.
At least you seem to know something about the tactical side of football. That’s more than can be said for some of the blinkered posters on this site.

Lol Fatroo, good point. With regards to Iheanacho, although an instinctive finisher, he just never had the ‘first touch’ or technique that Pep looks for in a player (Rashford, I think has both). And it’s something you just can’t coach/develop.
As for Stones, he’s young (only 23) and still learning. And Pep has already gone on record recently and said he’s going nowhere.

Sorry to intrude lads but would you send that Rashford boy over to Pep. He’ll develop him into, if not a world class striker, at least an excellent one. Cheers.

TMA: City “ripped to shreds”? Get a grip. Had we not been so profligate in front of goal in the first half, you would have been on the end of the biggest mauling in derby history, far wider than the ‘sick swan’ in 2011.

Chelsea Man, all your records will be beaten – points total, goals scored, largest goal difference and games won.
One consolation is, it is to a very, very good football team. Can’t yet be considered the greatest PL team ever but certainly play the best football, consistently, the PL has ever seen.

Two poor teams by CL knockout stages – can’t remember either stringing more than four passes together and giving the ball away with alarming regularity.
Let’s hope the second half improves.

Where’s he going to play? Left of a back three.
Seriously though, he’s the type of player Mourinho would sign – another very expensive ‘misfit’ in a hope that the more quality you throw at the team the better chance of success.
The best managers only buy players that they think will add value and fit into the system they want to play and know will be successful.

Also Ash, you didn’t sell all your tickets for yesterday’s match – the bottom tier was full but the top two were 2/3rds full, at best.
Really don’t know what Martin Tyler was on about?

    Ash – 5/3/2018 @ 7:30am
    “…..and the shit support lol”
I really don’t think I’d be making such remarks if I supported a club who’ve had average crowds as low as 12 and 13,000 (in the 80’s)
Fyi, we averaged over 28,000 (capacity 32,000) in tier 3 in 1998/99.
Always better think before opening one’s mouth (posting)

Park the bus, park the bus, Antonio Conte,
Park the bus, park the bus, I say,
Park the bus, park the bus, Antonio Conte,
    Playing football the Italian way.

Bit of a stroll in the park. I’d have thought a team chasing CL football would show more ambition. Was Cote trying to prove a point?

Oh and btw, TMA, stfu, you’re the irrelevant one.

Even as a City fan and born a number of years after the tragedy, that song, ‘Flowers of Manchester’ almost brings a tear to my eye.
I listened to the radio documentary on R5 Live last night – a very poignant compilation of recollections from people in the aftermath.
RIP to all that lost their lives that fateful day.

Sanchez cannot now be sold against his wishes. So, if all the reports are correct, and his desire is to come to City, he’ll just sit tight until the summer and move here on a free. City won’t budge on the £20m because they obviously know he wants to come to us, so the ball’s in Arsenal’s court – do they accept £20m now or pay his wages until July and then lose him for nothing.
Either way City can afford to wait.
Not such a tough choice for Arsenal but they have made some strange decisions in the past.
