I agree with happyhurling. How stupid were Roma?! And after the first goal they didn’t learn and just let it happen time and time again. I turned off at half time.

It just shows that you don’t need world class players in every position. Our midfield is better but Liverpool attack with pace which we don’t. Our approach is slow and cumbersome and easy to defend against.

Let’s just hope Roma win 3-0 again.

Has Fellaini actually announced that he is leaving? If not, I can see no reason why Jose would want to let him go given how he it utilised.

We know Carrick is retiring so that’s a definite out. Everything points towards Shaw leaving given how he is treated and it’s starting to look that way for Martial sadly. We could be seeing the next de Bruyne or Salah scenario with those two. Rejected by Jose only to go on and be world class elsewhere.

Blind’s Utd days seem to be over too. Has he been injured all season or just not picked?

I agree that a CB should leave but which one? It’s impossible to know who Jose will go with. They all have their faults but are all chosen by Jose for one reason or another.

I would be delighted if Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah and McTominay get more game time next year as well as Gomes and Chong and Perriera.

If Shaw is to go we need a left back. Sessegnon at Fulham is my number one candidate but he’s not a Jose signing – sigh. He’d already be our player if Sir Alex was still here or even LvG.

We need a CM too. Someone in the Keane/Gattuso/Vieira mold. A leader who will pull players like Pogba into line if they aren’t pulling their weight on the pitch.

Hatters – good point re going behind but my only worry is why is taking us going behind before we start to up our game. Why aren’t we like this at 0-0?

I personally wouldn’t have had any complaints if Valencia received a red. Both feet off the ground, not in control and made contact half way up Alli’s leg. But then again, as soon as you see it’s Alli you reduce it to yellow.

Lot of people working on a Saturday evening?!?! Are you all barmen or something?

Very lucky to be level in this.

Valencia is having an absolute mare and should have seen red. Needs taking off.

Just can’t take to Pogba’s attitude but great cross for the goal.

Jesse should have given us the lead.

Just waiting for Herrera to be the first sub off as per.

So Jose was full of shit then. No one earned a spot from the Bournemouth game and he’s started with the same team that was crap against West Brom apart from lingard.

Sooner that prick fucks off the better.

    2-0 spurs.

Golden era of Premier League football. Unlikely to be ever seen again. The arrival of Jose at Chelsea seemed to extinguish the Fergie Wenger rivalry.

End of an era. Hopefully they get a replacement better than we did. Shouldn’t be too difficult.

Mourinho has certainly left himself open for criticism now if he goes back on his word about players playing for a starting spot on Saturday.

Rashford, Lingard and Martial all showed that they offer pace and movement upfront and I’m confident that if Jose had started with these 3 more often they’d be quite a unit together.

When Lukaku came on he could see how the other 3 were playing and mirrored that to the best of his ability and I thought he looked good when he came on and took his goal well.

Shaw also did well at left back and for me has earned a start against Spurs. Hererra too was arguably the best player on the pitch after a shaky start where everything seemed to go backwards. Pogba too should start.

No doubt though that Matic, Sanchez and Young will come straight back in along with the big red bus.

Darmian and Fellaini didn’t do enough to warrant a start for me.

Blind was an odd one. Only got 10 mins and hasn’t played all season really. Did a few good passes but wasn’t on long enough to pass judgement.

Enjoyed that first half. Energetic front three makes for a more enjoyable game. If they played together more often I think they’d click and find each other with these through balls more often.

Herrera and Pogba have grown as the game has gone on. Great ball by Ander for the goal.

Bournemouth still dangerous when they attack which spurs will punish if given the chance.

Shaw doing well too. Needs to be allowed to move forward more regularly.

If this game goes on to be a good win you have to wonder why Lukaku isn’t dropped more often.

    Mourinho is talking shit again.

“I only know one criteria: the way you play is the only way I can select players.
“Or do you want me to go for the price they cost, or their salary, or their beautiful face? The only way is to go with performance.”

It’s well known that he plays his own signings above any one else’s and regardless of how poorly his signing’s play or how well his non-signings play he’ll always stick with his own signings.

I can count on one hand how many times Lukaku, Sanchez, Pogba, Matic and Zlatan were ever subbed off when they were having a bad game but I’ve lost count how many times Martial, Mata, Rashford, Shaw, Herrera and co. have been subbed or dropped even when one of his untouchables have been playing worse.

Casing point – Rashford hadn’t played or scored for a while yet is given a starting spot against the Scousers. He scores 2 goals and gets MOTM. Next week he is shoved out to the right to accommodate one of Jose’s signings, his performance slips as a result and he then finds himself back on the bench. Lukaku however went 8 or 9 goals without scoring yet didn’t miss a minute of football.

Jose has set himself up for a fall because if he plays someone like Rashford or Martial against Bournemouth and they do well he’ll have to pick them against Spurs otherwise he just makes himself look like a bigger twat than he already is. No doubt if one of them say plays well he’ll play them out of position against Spurs and then claim he’s done what he said he’d do but it’s the players who under-performed and it’s not his tactics that were at fault.

This is atrocious. It’s West Brom for fuck sake. Get some pace on. Take off Sanchez and give Pogba a bollocking at half time.

I’d like to predict 5-0 because that’s the sort of score we aim for but I’m going for 3-0.
