Chelsea1967, “New manager bounce” happens so often mate but Pogba’s performances since do not put him in a great light. His ego must be the size of Russia.

Could be merit in what Tim Sherwood stated that we don’t need to make any signings in January as it could upset the feel good factor we currently have. Gomez will be back and there is a possibility the Ox could appear February March. That would be like a new signing because he is a top player. Then again, new blood could push us on over the line. Hard to know.

specialone, I do indeed remember your post mate and I hope you’re right. Major difference for us this year is our defence. It’s taken Klopp until now to sort it and he ended up having to break transfer records for keeper and CB. He tried with cheap buys (Karius, Matip) and they were sub standard. You guys are coming out of 20 plus years of amazing success under Wenger. This is not Emery’s team and it will take him time to build his own team. Look at Utd, miles off the pace despite spending a fortune. Emery will get you back, if he’s given time and money.

He certainly did mate. He also said Jose was a serial winner and Klopp has no plan b and can only play one way. He also said City would be 10 points clear come new year. Knowledgeable guy our smeggy.

Too right bofa. We don’t seem to fall apart anymore when under pressure. Another vital ingredient to challenge for trophies.

Think there’s a good keeper in there, specialone remember De Gea was crap in his first season and earned the nickname “comedy Dave”. At least Leno isn’t Karius. You have a good manager and it will take time to rebuild. Klopp is in his fourth year and we’ve won nothing yet.

Feck me that was awesome. What a reaction to going behind. In our position you would expect nerves to set in and it wasn’t Cardiff we were playing. Immediate response and effectively game over 20 mins after going behind. So many top men out there today. Obviously Bobby but Gini was outstanding as was Robertson, Trent and Shaq. Some of Shaq’s passing was sublime. Fabinho had a dodgy start but grew into the game, whole midfield was awesome which was the key to the win. Have to do it al again on Thursday but just imagine if we win. Hell a draw would be awesome too. Too early to dream but we’re halfway there.

Any sign of martialsmeg? Not getting carried away by that result. Means nothing until we can put five past the top teams like Cardiff.

Stevie G shaking things up in Scotland without spending a penny. The Gers battered Celtic today and but for the keeper would have been 5 or 6. Doing great under Klopp and Stevie off to a flier in his managerial career. The futures bright, the futures red and scouse.
