    Numbers to look out for?

The matches to be played between Friday March 10
    and Monday March 13.

    1. Lincoln
    2. Tottenham
    3. Blackburn or Manchester United
    4. Sutton United or Arsenal
    5. Middlesbrough
    6. Chelsea
    7. Huddersfield or Manchester City
    8. Millwall

If we get past Huddesfield I think we might get The Boro
    or United away?

How lucky are Arsenal. They get a bye to the semi nearly every year.

Not sure. But if we dispose of Huddesfield.

It’ll be the sixth time in a row that City
have been drawn against a Premier League side
in the FA Cup and the 18th consecutive time
they have faced either Premier League or
    Championship opposition.

Maybe Wenger got promoted/moved up the pecking order
with the FA? After Taggart retired.

Come on Adlab, I’ll bet Burnley thought they were getting a bye into the quarter finals. Arsenal are vulnerable at the moment, what have Lincoln got to lose? Anyway they have to beat Sutton first.

You would get very good odds indeed!
I know there are strange results in the cup. But……..
I just wish we could get an easy home draw for a change!

It would have been nice to have a home draw, but Boro’ away isn’t too bad. If we beat Huddersfield in the replay, hopefully Pep will pick a decent team for both matches. Aguero is a real worry at the moment not his usual self. Pity we didn’t get Millwall at home.

Doc..agree….all this uncertainty must affect players….which is not necessary. The guy wants to stay, I feel sure he is not asking for a guarantee first spot but if he plays well enough and score like he can , who better. I am not convinced we are handling this right. If the club want him to move on, fair enough,,just say so and it is no use hiding under the phrase he must do this or that…we know what he can do. If you ask the question which players in the club will give you at least 20 goals a season minimum I would like to know. If you could name me 5 strikers who can guarantee you 20 goals this season I would like to know…league games

Agree Brian, we need at least 3 quality forwards and by that I mean players that are capable of 20 + goals a season , unfortunately we haven’t had that since Mancini left. We need Kun Jesus to share the burden with Sterling stepping up and Sane/KDB contributing as well. PG needs to stop tinkering and produce a settled squad asap.

Interesting article one MEN about city’s ‘luck’ at being drawn away for 9 consecutive ties and the associated odds on such an event

Jeez that’s scary.I’m almost as dumbfounded by no comment from
    our “conspiracist in chief” 🙂

Has anyone seen Red-ref Anthony Taylors latest goof ?
A penalty for Burnley at Swansea. When a Burnley player
    hand balled it 🙁
