Meet outside the Directors Box at The Emirates. Make sure you get yourselves there if you are true fans and want Clouseau out. I suppose I’m wasting my time with you lot but why don’t you start acting like real fans and make your feelings known. Apathy is killing this club.

Ffs. The response to this thread is beyond pathetic.

You all write bs and slander about each other, but to actually do some proper service to your club, no one’s interested.

Oracle, well done for putting this up. Anyone who’s anti wenger and in London who doesn’t show up, shame on you.

    I’ll be there.

Wouldn’t you prefer to join the main demonstration, which starts at 14:30?

PS If you write the time as 15:20, you don’t really need to put ‘pm’ afterwards 😉

I won’t be in London on Sunday but will attend any march on May 6 when United play us as that’s the only other match I’m scheduled to go to. I believe there are protests organised for all remaining home matches, but they are all outside the ground. Even now, I suppose it will be too late, our ever-smirking manager says he’s made his mind up. Well, when will he announce the inevitable news that he’s signing on for another two years, presumably with an increased salary on his current £8.5m? The man makes me want throw up, he’s only thinking of himself, not the club or fans.

Yes Al it’s 14:30pm from Highbury I believe and I know you don’t need pm if you use the 24hr clock but given who I’m dealing with I wanted to make it as easy as possible. The important point is will you be there?

I hope there is a significant turn out. The fans need to send the message. I wrote recently that the fans aren’t showing any passion for the club we love. Let’s hope I am wrong. Loud and clear: Wenger Out!

Oracle, I applaud the attempts to go on strike and make a stand but as i have said to you in teh past and have said to friends who will be marching there is no point doing it outside the ground. Anyone who thinks doing this outside the directors box will work is naive. Get your troops to protest in the ground, its only in the ground that it will make any slightest bit of difference. This would be very hard to achieve but anyone serious about starting a march would take this challenge on and make it happen.
No one cares what you do outside the ground, not the manager and certainly not the board. they are protected by a big old stadium. Do this in the ground and you will be heard.

Hulk- it’s not so easy inside and I know as I’ve tried before being threatened. Away from home, all dissenters are together and it’s effective. At home, the many who want Wenger out are spread around the stadium. For every one who shouts “Wenger Out”, there’s someone behind or in front who is a Wenger ostrich or there’s a tourist or two to soften the blow, so mass protest is impossible as such fans are not together. As you know, anti-Wenger banners are not allowed in the stadium, yet mysteriously, those supporting him somehow get in. If there’s a sniff of a “Wenger out” shout, stewards clamp down on it, especially in the Family Enclosure where I now sit. That is why I find it difficult to see how Oracle has supposedly voiced his displeasure at Club Level, as he would have been thrown out now by the club’s Thought Police. No, in the stadium, we’ve got lots of anti- Wenger fans spread all around, those whose still support him, others who sit on the fence and swallow the rubbish peddled by Wenger’s lap dogs like John Cross and then tourists who spend most of the time taking photos on their phones. Can’t see how we can get his monster out now as they’re just waiting for a not-so-bad result to announce the deal, or possibly, given they care zilch about the fans, do it in the close season!

Hulk, no one mentioned going on strike. I have been protesting against Wenger for years. And yes Jeff I have been warned so although I vent my frustrations within the ground it has to be toned down because its pointless being ejected or banned. I have written and emailed every week for years but I have only ever received 2 replies, I have put forward questions at AGM’s only to have them rejected, I have stood up and asked questions only to be brushed aside in favour of a sycophant who wanted to praise Wenger. I have heard Wenger’s Press Conference from yesterday and seen his interview from this morning where he was asked if his lack of a decision was adversely affecting the players. He treated the interview as if he was an idiot, rejecting the notion that his grandstanding has any affect on the players. According to him he brings stability to the club. It’s like the KGB at Arsenal, all lies, half truths, insults and propaganda. Nothing is ever Wenger’s fault. The only way we the fans can get rid of this foo, is if more people protest in the way Arsenal fans used to when they got rid of Billy Wright, only just over 4000 turned up for a game and Wright was sacked. Similar story with Terry Neill. Only the fans will shift Wenger but I suspect it’s too late now. He will sign on again and it will get worse.

So what can we do Oracle? Outside the ground will have negligible effect, even though I feel I have to do it against United, as the powers that be will be protected from that and inside the ground, is impossible for the reasons given. If we stop buying tickets, Red Club members and or general release will snap them up and we’ll have more non- Arsenal fans and tourists to fill any gaps, having a “day out”.The hierarchy will still claim there’s general accord amongst supporters. Shame this isn’t South America, someone could be employed to put the frighteners on the old fossil to get him to go!

I don’t think a protest outside of the ground is massively effective but every little helps. You’re right Hulk that the protest needs to be in the ground but as that is policed then TBH the only thing that will make the board and the sponsors (don’t forget them) is to not turn up. Empty seats are very very damning especially as the game is on TV. Last resort is having a massive punchup in the stands but of course that cannot be condoned.

Anyway – I’ll be there. Can’t get into the game but happy to join a protest.

Jeff, you have a point. Its not the Arsenal of old when supporters were the lifeblood of the club. They treat the paying fans with utter contempt. It’s all about TV Deals, Sponsorship, and Merchandising in The Far East. If they played behind closed doors for the entire season it wouldn’t close the club down they would carry on in the same vein ignoring us. The more we the fans on the ground protest against Wenger the more likely he is to stay just to defy us and stick two fingers up. He is in total control of the club, The Dictator was a name I gave him years ago and how true it is. No World Leader has the sort of control he does at Arsenal, complete and utter control of the club from top to bottom. It’s not good, not good at all.

Jeff, i know how hard it is inside, having been a season ticket holder for many years now. But the only way anyone at this club manager or board would even notice a protest is if it is in the ground. They couldnt give two F’s if you walk around outside asking for change, they really couldnt and thats the truth of it. all it does is allow the marching fan to vent some frustration and a few idiots to get into a mob mentality.
Im telling you now the only way to be heard would be to either march within the stadium, but given the way the emirates is managed it would probably turn into an all out riot. Or like we have done all season is keep our tickets and allow no one else to use leaving mine and the wife’s seat free and empty. Its costs alot of money this way but i feel its the only way to show my displeasure and it actually be seen. Even then 2 people wouldn’t make diddly squit difference, you get 5-10 thousand doing the same and you will see change. get 5-10 thousand to protest at one time in a stadium and you have change also.

Agreed Hulk, if even a few thousand could air their displeasure, this would be too much for the stewards to handle. There is, however, the threat of reprisals from the loony brigade, who will stamp out dissent at the outset. I think it was “The Gooner” mag that carried a story last season when a middle aged man and his teenage daughter were handing out anti-Wenger leaflets outside Arsenal Station. The man was physically threatened and his daughter verbally abused to tears by Wengerites. The situation could get very ugly in the near future I fear.
