3 times in 1 game 1 on 1 with the keeper and didnt look like scoring 1 of themJanuary 3, 2018 at 9:36 pm #1578304
ARsenal deserve the draw to be fair. Weve been shit again. Missed 5 chances 3 of them from morata. Bakayoko is a mess. He cannot play big gamesJanuary 3, 2018 at 9:37 pm #1578305
and seems that Morata has found some 1 on 1 situation but could not finish them. Can’t say anything else. Really we missed Costa TBH. Don’t like his attitude but his finishing was superb.January 3, 2018 at 9:38 pm #1578307
Morata cannot finish with his feet…unacceptable. We need someone who can finish. 17 shots away from home with 5 on target…we weren’t outplayed at all. Just cannot bladdy finish.January 3, 2018 at 9:44 pm #1578313
Yes Stuilse we done well in the end, great 2nd half.
Dare I say have we got another Torres on our hands, is that not 7 1on1’s in last 2 games for Morata, absolutely awful last couple of games.January 3, 2018 at 9:45 pm #1578320
Great game how we didnt win that is beyond me. Shout out to cahill i dont rate him but he saved us a few times tonight alonso as well i was critical of at the end of last season but hes looked awsome this season. Bakky was poor moses was poor again imo 2 area’s in our team that is weak. Thought cesc played well some great passes 1 to bakky stands out and the idiot tried to bring it down with his leg instead of chest and fucked it should have been clear on goalJanuary 3, 2018 at 9:50 pm #1578329
Have to say that Bats..with all his faults…would have buried at least one of Moratas one on ones.January 3, 2018 at 9:54 pm #1578330

Morata’s confidence is shot far too many chances missed. His only way forward is to work work work on his finishing on the training ground.January 3, 2018 at 9:54 pm #1578331
Well top 4 really is up for grabs we could easily drop out of that as once spurs win tomorrow they are 3 points off us. Liverpool and united look really good for 2nd and 3rd. It really depends on who we buy.
Morata what more can i say. He just cant score with his feet. Its not even funny anymore. I thought we couldnt possibly do as bad as torres was ever again but the comparison on him and morata is terrifying. They actually look and finish exactly the same. Clumsy feet. Cant dribble awkward body shape.
We are in trouble these next two months we play arsenal twice. Barca twice and the 2 manchester teams away. I can see us losing all 6January 3, 2018 at 10:14 pm #1578350
And costa scores on his return debut for AM tonight
Can we have him back please
Wow we are jinxed on strikers, Robert fleck syndrome😀😀January 3, 2018 at 10:18 pm #1578352
Ok here’s another left field shout…Jamie Vardy? Might be a stop gap until the summer and he’s 31. Will prob cost a bomb as well. But…two oh his ex colleagues play for us, he’s still very quick and he can FINISH.January 3, 2018 at 10:28 pm #1578353
Stuilse mate we need someone, Bats is not fancied and we will not get a tune out of him now and if anyone wants him he will be gone, but getting a player out of any club where is a main player in January is extremely difficult.January 3, 2018 at 10:31 pm #1578358
Liverpool and united locked on for 2nd and 3rd lol united have had 1 good game in there last 5 or 6 have they not and jose is on the verg of a breakdown unless ive been watching something else for the last monthJanuary 3, 2018 at 10:44 pm #1578361
Best game of the season so far. We have 3 places that need to be strengthened especially upfront. My grandad could have scored a couple tonight. Still be proud that we witnessed a fantastic spectacleJanuary 3, 2018 at 10:48 pm #1578366
Wow huge quotes coming from conte. He wont be here next season. I dont think any player we bought in the summer was one of his
Conte on transfers: “I don’t aim high with my requests, especially as in my history I’ve rarely been given the players I asked for. I always ended up at clubs who were running an austerity programme,” (Sky Italia) #CFCJanuary 3, 2018 at 10:57 pm #1578368
I have said, times out of number, that Morata (although a good player) is NOT a striker. And I also told a member of this site last summer that Bakayoko is not a big game player. If you know what you are looking at, both of these observations were obvious. Too often we are buying alternatives when the real targets either say “no” or we decide that they are too costly. We would be much better off waiting until we can obtain what we need. Nothing much else to say really.January 3, 2018 at 10:59 pm #1578369
The Gooners were there for the taking tonight. It was common knowledge that they would have a make piece defence and our team selection should have reflected that.
Not only was the team selection wrong, the changes were diabolical.
I am a massive fan of Conte but am getting more and more disillusioned with his tactics and teams. How Bakayoko gets in the squad beggars belief.
The club need to make amends for the disastrous summer transfer window, however January is a hard time to do it. One of the biggest signings we need to make is to cover a loss that we did not do in the summer. We need a Steve Clarke, Zola, Paul Clement or some exChelsea Player with coaching experience who knows the prem to replace Steve Holland. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the coaching staff lack that knowledge and experience of the league!
It will also help towards a smooth transition when (not if) Conte leaves be it before or at the end of the season!January 3, 2018 at 11:00 pm #1578370
Be scandalous if we let him go, but guess us Chelsea fans should be used to it by now, won’t be long before bookies are giving out odds on the next Chelsea coach, may as well ditch any reference to a manager now at Chelsea.
The way he dropped to his knees and hammered his fist into the ground after yet another glaring miss, wow, passion and frustration in its pure form.January 3, 2018 at 11:14 pm #1578372
Again agree Bluepylon but think the writing is on the wall. January transfer activity will tell a tale, but I fear there is no smoke without fire. The relationship between Coach and Board is strained, and the Ancelotti link won’t go away. Given the Ememnalo departure, Paul Clement being available and knowing how itchy our owners trigger finger is I reckon the odds of Carlo and Paul being at the bridge for next season will be quite short!January 4, 2018 at 12:47 am #1578387

If De Gea is the No 1 keeper in the World then Courtois is probably in the top 3 or 4.
Brilliant display tonight and we need to try and talk him into signing a new extended contract asap.
Be a crying shame to lose him and he will be very difficult to replace.
