As you know by now I believe that Fabregas is best suited as a super sub so the only change I would consider would be as always between Pedro or Willian

I fully expect a similar reaction from Arsenal as we saw from Liverpool. They have to up for the game and know that a loss will kill their hopes of a title win. Obviously that is our motivation and would be reducing the teams capable of catching us down to a couple, possibly even only 1…?

It will be tough but at the same time we must know that we are more than capable of taking revenge and getting 3 points. while Arsenal are not playing well they do not give up and have players who can turn a game – but so do we

I was always more optimistic about this game than last nights and so far see nothing to change my opinion. KTBFFH

Arsenal are bottlers – and we should put them to the sword. I’ll stick my neck out and say we will win 3-0 (hope i don’t jinx this)!

Without being spoilt and Arsenal are stil Arsenal.. fully expect us to pick up 3 points and get revenge for the beating at the emirates.

Doubt Antonio will start cesc. So far he only starts fab, despite his numerous influential cameo’s, when he expects us to fully dominate possession. Usually against a much weaker team like in the cup runs so far. Conte has shown himself to be quite rigid in making changes to his side and rightly so with so many wins. Quick pressing – like Liverpool or to a lesser extent Arsenal – exposes fabs weaknessess. That said he did very wel against city in December when Matic was out.

I reckon the big one is Pedro v Willian – who will get the nod? Pedro is chipping in with goals but was woeful v spurs whilst Willian by his standards is also scoring and assisting more… I reckon he will pick Willian again.

Pedro > Willian – especially as we are at home.

Willian coughs up the ball, turning possession over to the opposition too frequently and his movement is not as astute as Pedro’s. Pedro is much better in front of goal too.

    Pedro for me over Willian.

Although pedro played shit against spurs he should start. You could see the difference when he came on yday straight away with a shot outside tbe goal which willian just does not do

I have to laugh when some fans selectively hype Pedro over Willian, despite their goal scoring records being identical. Willian was bad on Tuesday, but let us not forget that Pedro was also bad against Hull. both players are on a fantastic run, both are scoring goals. i think both have 5 league goals each. Pedro has 3 cup goals, Willian has 2. we need to appreciate both players. not slam one player and hype another.

For me, Willian has a better engine and is more defensive minded. He can make good runs and score but is prone to give the ball away

I see Pedro as a more out and out attacking player who can score although he is obviously learning the art of tracking back and defending under Conte (but he also gives the ball away). At the moment he reminds me of a little terrier on the pitch when he is trying to do the defensive duties

As we are at home and I hope we will be looking to take the game to Arsenal then I would opt for the more attack minded of the pair so go for Pedro. KTBFFH

Ok – just to play devils advocate here – why not start both Pedro and Willian and drop Hazard as he appears to be on a bad run…?

Only joking but it is a potential option….!! KTBFFH

On my thoughts about Arsenal game. i think we should go for the win. because Spurs will be facing Liverpool next week end. i would definitely go for an attacking line up. and would instruct our wing backs to push higher up the pitch. and with the form that Hazard is ( just having a little problem ) this is the perfect game that he should be recapturing his early season form. I would play Pedro and Fabregas in this game. Willian needs to be rested. so my starting line up is, Courtois, Azpi – Luiz – Cahill, Moses- Kante – Fabgregas-Alonso, Pedro – Costa – Hazard. how i would love to end any lingering hopes that Arsenal have over winning the title at Stamford bridge.

As a neutral, I’d want Willian in the side ahead of Pedro. Appreciate Pedro is having a very good season, but against the big boys, I’d want Willian in there for his work-rate and tracking back. Pedro more of a luxury player IMO….
Should be a cracker though. I tip a 2-1 Chelsea win

What I like about Pedro is his shoot on sight policy or lack of restraint to try when he sees an opportunity. Personally feel we’ve missed that with Willian the last few seasons (obviously Willian has massively improved last season and this in this aspect). Combined with Pedro’s pace it causes problems and creates chances.

Pedro also harries like a headless chicken which is a double edged sword but seems to be working quite well with Costa focused and Kante almost counting for 2 players. Willians has massively improved over the last few seasons, yet how many times does he get to the right position hesitate on the shot or opt to pass instead of go alone?

Not sure if it’s the right word to use but I just see Willian as more balanced and consistent, less likely to easily give away possession than Pedro would and for this reason I would have Willian starting and Pedro from the bench as the impact sub v the goons.

As to who Conte will pick… tough one. Clearly he is enjoying the competition between them both as he is rotating game after game based on who’s scoring or assisting.

I don’t know if you have seen, but in the last few days i have been reading articles by the media which points to Chelsea’s weakness, how to beat Chelsea, or how Arsenal can beat Chelsea. i haven’t seen one single article which points to Arsenal weakness or how Chelsea could beat Arsenal. this media bias against our club has been taken to a whole new level. take one article in the Telegraph that has been preaching how Spurs beat Chelsea, and how Arsenal must adopt that tactic to beat Chelsea. my question is, wasn’t media supposed to neural from PL contests?

Am not worried if they highlight our weakness, it might actually turn into strength for us.
