Will we ever get on to the back page of the papers for our sporting achievements instead of front pages for indiscretions? If it’s not about tax evading owners it’s abusive directors, pie tax, ex directors being in jail, sacked managers etc etc. It’s just the norm now, as is expecting Leeds to concede a goal in the last 5 minutes of a game

Well as a Leeds Fan you got to laugh otherwise you could cry yourself a river! On the back pages, if we get any coverage at all, you will find a ridiculous Head Coach who thinks he is in with a chance for the Manager of the Month award but says it really ought to go to Neil Warnock, you have a trio of hapless centre backs who are happy to bear gifts to opponents rather than defend as it seems so much easier and a team that is already on holiday. The Head Coach is not getting another contract and knows it and is busy making out that there is a parade of clubs seeing his services and perhaps a bunch of youngsters that could be blooded but are being blocked by players patently lacking for reasons known only to the Head Coach.

Really not too much to shout about is there? Or have I missed something?

More front page news: Leeds United player suspended after biting opponent. The present manager is a joke, just as Shockaday and Darko have been. MC has to carry the burden of responsibility for making us a laughing stock.

I am seriously thinking of writing a comprehensive history of Leeds United Football Club.

Don’t get me wrong Phoenix, I’m not suggesting we deserve to be on the back pages, because, as we all know, we are terrible. Seriously, this is a very depressing time isn’t it? At kick off before every home game I stupidly wish I had made the effort and gone. By half time I’m sitting smugly in the warmth thanking God I didn’t waste my money.
It really is unbelievable that there are a few teams worse than we are.

I get what you mean Lasher. This weekend I will be away in some hotel for a long weekend with the better half. Normally I would be really upset that the lads are on the box and I shall not be able to take in the match. However, tomorrow I will be happy to get the result at some point in the evening but expect to be no better off in terms of points. My attitude is one of “oh well”. It aint right but this is where I am

I can’t remember a time when so many fans seem to have given up all hope! Everyone is feeling down and lots are saying they can’t be bothered any more. I despised Bates and wanted him out of the club, but even then I don’t think I felt as low as this. It feels like the club is just slowly dying. It must be wonderful being a Leicester fan. They are living the dream whilst we are in a never-ending nightmare.

Judy, it really is a bad time to be a Leeds fan. I travel the UK regularly and rival fans views have gone from hatred to sympathy. I no longer stick up for the club or even the players any more. We are where we are because we are a poor club. Poor owners, poor management, poor players! What have we got going for us? The fans that still go we soon see the light and stay away. We wont improve any time soon. And that’s what depresses me the most of all. We are in a mire.
