Largely agree with you and feel sure he will be sold in January but quite how have we contrived to reach this state with the most successful product of our academy to date? I can’t imagine this happening in quite the same way at any of the top clubs and without knowing what has occurred on the training field I have watched the demise and disinterest of this player with sadness. Pulis has never given him a run in his best position and he is just not equipped for the 40 yard airborne punts downfield that represents our preferred method of attack these days. Not sure what message this conveys to the likes of Nabi but don’t expect to see him anywhere near the first team under this manager.

What is the issue with Berahino – is it just he is fed up with the Pulis style of play? He has got to be careful he doesn’t get perceived as ‘damaged goods’. I’ve always rated him highly, and I remember we were linked with him a couple of years ago. I guess his value will be reducing which won’t be good for WBA.

Hightown , u can have him, lots of promise and talent but the kids damaged goods I hear. How’s he gonna cope with your squad when all fit cus he’s bench at best when they are, he won’t like that and it won’t be long before he’s stirring the gravy again, 20 million for me and I’d take it all day long, or a straight swop for Benteckkkke I’m not fussed either way lol.

I am not sure Berahino will leave in jan, cause nobody want to pay what ALBION and JP wants, round about 20mill. IMO it is a shame what has happen to the kid, last year, our top scorer and only 22 years old,He has done some stupid things and i dont know whats happen behind the scenes, but TP has more or less taken the self confidense away from the kid and as long as the muppet are running this club Berahino will be behind our other strikers. He has been our best goalscorer since PHillips was here.If you look at our other strikers,,Rondon,Lambert and Anicebe they are good footballers, but goalscorers, no way.Now it is up to Berahino to grew up and start fighting for his place in the team and than i think he will bounce back.Norway baggie

Geir, I don’t think that TP or the club are to blame. Saido had his head turned by transfer speculation in the summer similar to Odemwingie (who is now quoted as saying he wished he’d never driven to QPR). He’s not the first player that this has happened to. It certainly killed Odemwingie’s career and if he’s not careful Saido could end up the same. I think that he needs to move both for himself and for the club but not on the cheap.

Get rid asap at the right price ! He’s 22, earning a good wage, doing a job that most of us would love and if he put the effort in, other clubs would be queuing up offering a high salary and he’d probably be in the England squad ……. yet still he can’t be arsed. What a pathetic attitude to have. He might not like playing for JP or TP, but he should still be performing for the club, for the fans and for his future. Some have said he’s wasted 6 months, but he’s actually put his career back about 2 years.

I understand we have different opinion about Berahino.I, as a former player in Norway,i want the lad to stay and get his attitude back on track and i think he will.I really hope TP will give Berahino a chance saturday and i hope the lad will bounce back, for me he is our best striker.Norway baggie

Geir, I’ve managed to find seven former players in Norway with your first name. One goalkeeper, two defenders, three strikers and an attacking midfielder/striker. Which position did you play? You don’t have to answer. Godt nitt ar.

I think it’s blind wishful thinking to suggest that somehow Berahino will stay and work hard for his place. If he wanted that, he would’ve done it months ago. I expect plenty of staff and players have had a word in his ear, but he’s not listening. All he sees are the $ that he isn’t getting and he appears too daft to understand that his behaviour is potentially damaging his career.
PS Interesting to watch TP’s interviews on SB where, if you read between the lines, he appears to be saying exactly the opposite of the words he uses.
