you say there is a technical issue re the avatar 999. How come yours works then and no one elses?
February 4, 2017 at 8:36 am #14292001967, I’m the sites “Special One” mate. 🙂
I must admit that it is a bit odd. I will drop James an email mail to try and find out the latest. Cheers 999
ps: You were spot on re your comments on Kante imo.
February 4, 2017 at 9:25 am #1429216morning chaps, could be a copywrite issue.. My dirty pants was taken from online so perhaps its something like that. I presume 999, those are your dogs and one of your photos?
February 4, 2017 at 9:43 am #1429224RDP, According to James it’s a tech issue. I will ask him for an update.Cheers 999
February 25, 2017 at 1:39 am #1440048so sad for Claudio Raniero. This is an excerpt from an article I read. The comments are so true and were my thoughts on here a month ago:
SELLING KANTE
Rarely can the departure of one player have had such a profound effect on a team.
N’Golo Kante — a dynamic, diminutive central midfielder — was one of the driving forces behind Leicester’s title success. His teammates and Ranieri said he did the work of two players with his energy and reading of the game.
Kante left Leicester for Chelsea in July and has proved irreplaceable. Ranieri signed Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Amartey in the offseason and Wilfred Ndidi in January, but none of the holding midfielders come close to matching Kante.
Leicester’s defense lost its screener and its aging center backs, Robert Huth and Wes Morgan, have been exposed. The team has been unable to switch defense into attack as quick without Kante.
Meanwhile, Chelsea — with Kante running its midfield — has an eight-point lead and is a big favorite to win the league. These comments I believe are spot on. The difference at Leicester and certainly a major asset now at Chelsea. I Wish Claudio the best for the future. Much loved at Chelsea for his tireless work at our club.
February 25, 2017 at 3:59 am #1440049hmmmm sorry folks Ranieri it is!!
March 9, 2017 at 1:49 am #1447725Chelsea sitting back and relaxing while we go a further two points clear at the top of the table due to City’s 0-0 result at home to Stoke. Ten points clear and cruising. Three losses in the last 11 odd matches and we are Champions. It’s looking pretty damn good.
March 9, 2017 at 7:42 am #144774667,I must admit that the City draw at home to Stoke felt almost as good as a Chelsea win they are the team I was most concerned about and they were on a winning run and had the scored a late goal it would have felt like a massive result for them.
Now they are deflated with Pep moaning like Jose. 🙂
Jack would be a grinner mate. Cheers 999
March 9, 2017 at 10:00 am #1447850Yes. bless him, Jack would be ecstatic, I’m sure his grandkids are supporting them as no doubt Jack left them with that hunger for the club which I obtained due to my dad’s influence all those years back. Just realised that we are away to Stoke in our next Premiership match and winning that after City’s draw would be a big statement of intent fired in City’s direction.
March 9, 2017 at 1:44 pm #144796767,one of the last chats I had with Jack was him telling me about all the certificates Rocky and Bam had won at the Little Athletics and how rapt he was and Jack’s last words to me were wishing well to myself and my family which given how ill Jack was was so typical of him to be thinking about others before himself.
Jack was so so proud of Rocky and Bam and they will be carrying Jack’s Chelsea torch forward for him for sure.
He was a special bloke mate and his courage and humour in such difficult circumstances an inspiration. God bless him. Cheers 999
March 9, 2017 at 6:41 pm #1448113nice words mate. I’ll never forget the words of support he gave me re my mum’s woes with the dreaded disease, this while he was battling it himself. Lovely man and someone that I would have been honoured to have actually met in person. RIP Jack.
March 9, 2017 at 8:14 pm #144813767, absolutely mate Jack was the sort of guy who put everyone before himself even in his most troubled times horrible disease indeed and spending anytime in an Oncology Hospital is a humbling experience.
Jack has a great life though and had some wonderful stories to tell my one regret is that we never got to meet up. Take care my friend 999
March 11, 2017 at 10:07 am #1448731yes understandable 999. On another issue, note that WBA are interested in JT. Why not sign him up for another season and then loan him out to them. That way he can play in the Premier League but never against his parent club which I assumed he never ever wanted to do. Just a thought.
March 19, 2017 at 7:22 am #1452827What has happened to the tables on here plus ability to view upcoming fixtures. Am I missing something? Nothing working!! Have to rely on Live Score for the table now. Google good for the fixtures. What is going on with this site?
March 19, 2017 at 2:02 pm #1453036Watching the Sunday Suuplement and the tw*t from the Sun stating Everton and Spurs are bigger clubs than Chelsea. What cr*p and people question if there is a media bias against Chelsea. Looking forward to shoving it where the sun doesn’t shine when we win the double,!!!
March 19, 2017 at 8:46 pm #1453266Gib, you’re right mate and on no basis does Charlie Wyett’s claim stack up!
Both Everton and Spurs haven’t won a League title in Everton’s case for 30 years and in Spurs case nearly 60 years whilst Chelsea assuming we win the title this season will have won 5 League titles in the last 12 years.
In terms of revenues and world wide fan bases Chelsea are miles ahead of both Everton and Spurs and in terms of the CL Spurs have only competed in it twice and Everton have never competed in the CL proper whilst Chelsea have regularly competed in the CL even making the Qtr Finals back in the 1999/2000 season and have been to two Finals and have won the CL.
All hot air mate from a journalist who should know better but in fairness he does write for the Sun! 🙂
March 20, 2017 at 12:55 pm #1453579Yep – maybe we shouldn’t call him a journalist?! 🙂
March 26, 2017 at 7:40 pm #1455996Probably the best place for this article given it’s about the past… and present… A soft spot for him as a player and a word of well done to our former midfielder Gavin Peacock in this article. Some interesting stories in it and shows the paths of life after sport.
March 31, 2017 at 12:00 pm #1457603hi 999. Where can I view the tables, fixtures and results on this site now? Thanks.
March 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm #14578471967, you can’t currently mate there are some gremlins in the system that those at Talk Towers are trying to sort out. Cheers 999
