Can;t stand them and I dont like anyone threatening Liverpool of a 19th League Championship.

    Liverpool is my DNA.

We have drawn 2 games right after international break, and we also missed Lallana’s pressing. Southampton defended really well, but just like against United, we had a couple of chances to score and we only had ourselves to blame for missing them. Still, a clean sheet away from home since February is something we can build on.

To win the PL it’s not about relying on other teams to lose it’s about your own results and winning the games that you should win.

Yesterday Liverpool dominated the game v Southampton but failed to win having 15 attempts on goal but only 2 on target which I suspect will be a bit of a concern for Klopp.

A point at Southampton is not a disaster although I suspect of the 3/4 teams competing for the title the majority will leave St Mary’s with all 3 points.

There’s a long way to go yet in the title race with plenty of twists and turns still to come!

Nine, I don’t think klopp will be to concerned. We are never great after the international break. We should have won but all the top teams are going to drop points at places like Southampton(city drew at home)West Ham, Swansea (like Chelsea did) Watford, etc. points will be dropped. It’s such a tough league mate. I was really impressed by Chelsea at Southampton.thdy look such a solid unit and will beat boro easily enough today.

I don’t get nils post at all. Silly thing to say as it’s such early days and as Liverpool fans why be bothered by Chelsea? It’s all about top 4 for me. You look at the teams we are competing againest. Much bigger budgets who can attract the top talent.we get top 4 and it be a massive achievement. I don’t have one eye on the league at all. It’s about making steady progress and that’s what’s happening for us. I’d love a trophy and top 4.we need to start winning cups.

LOL Nil, clearly trashed when you made this post.

Nine is right, you win titles by focusing on your own results and if they are good enough in the end then it won’t matter who else has been getting what. I think that Chelsea will be there or there-abouts come the end of the season but ya. . .

I’m not sure Chelsea is a club many Liverpool fans like or want to see winning games. Bit unnecessary making a post about it though, isn’t it? We played a game v Southampton yesterday, let’s talk about that

No Ian, I for one don;t.

I see Chelsea as more of a threat than the others because like us, they have no Europe.

The one point I would strongly emphasize is that we need to be ruthless if we;re serious about a title and that means not making friends with our competitors and be all this “nicey nicey”.

Where in life has it got us?

Look at Klopp;s facial expressions yesterday at times on the touchline with his gnashed teeth.

No I don;t particularly like Chelsea and will continue feeling this way until we start re-filling our trophy cabinet and get back to being England;s number 1.

Anyway, they have one or two tricky fixtures after the boro game today.

Sean,Liverpool have progressed this season at a much faster rate than probably a lot of Liverpool fans were even expecting and I can only see good things ahead for you.

Whether that includes winning the PL this season I’m not sure I still feel that City and Arsenal are the major contenders for the title and as poor as Arsenal were yesterday Wenger was right last season they would have lost that game.

As for Chelsea I expected a top 4 challenge before the season started but even that looked unlikely after the Arsenal game. There has been a significant improvement bought about by the change of tactics and the change of a few players and hopefully Chelsea will be good enough to take a CL place now this season.

I don’t see a real title challenge from Chelsea until perhaps next season when Conte has had a bit more time and a bit more luck in the summer transfer market.

Boro won’t be easy and you can take nothing for granted especially as Boro have taken points off both Arsenal and City of late but I’ve got my fingers crossed especially as we have a couple of tough games to come.Cheers 999

Nil, with the greatest of respect mate digging out Chelsea on here and the main site and telling everybody how much you hate them will have absolutely zero effect on whether Liverpool do or don’t win the title!!!!!

Nine, true mate, but at the same time, it;s a supporters message board and this thread posted is in our particular dressing room.

    Builds if anything, togetherness.

We have the best Liverpool supporters community here in my opinion and we;re excited in what we;ve experienced so far.

    Cheers

Nil, this is an open site and not limited to Liverpool fans/posters and you’ve been doing the same on the main site too.

Interesting that you think it’s building togetherness because of the Liverpool posters on here that have responded none of them seem to agree with you. But hey ho!

I’ve ruled Arsenal out of the title race Man UTD as well Arsenal were shocking yesterday and were very lucky to get a draw yesterday Think it will between us City and Chelsea. We should’ve won yesterday Southampton are a good team. We can’t win every game but we have to bounce back against Sunderland. We look the better bet than Arsenal we’ve already beaten hem this season.

And you;ve been interfering time and time again and also, what;s your objection to me openly exerting my dislike.

I;m candid mate, and if you can;t accept that then is not my problem.

Te old teamtalk wasn;t like this and we could in-house slag other teams off.

Nil, how have I interfered time and time again??????

You can say what you want about Chelsea, but relying on Chelsea to lose won’t win Liverpool the title assuming that Chelsea are Liverpool’s major threat which I’m not sure they are, Liverpool will have to do that all by themselves!

Lee, despite Arsenal playing poorly yesterday they still came back and got a draw at OT which as Wenger said is a game that they would have lost last season.

I don’t think anybody even down to United can be written out of the title race just yet and certainly not Arsenal who are currently only 2 points off of Liverpool in top spot.

Obviously I am not a Liverpool fan, but I do get to see all of the threads via the following link- http://www.teamtalk.com/topics

It seems like this was only created just to start an argument and it is quite sad and petty to read. Most Liverpool fans rate nine and do not mind his contribution to this section. He is not being disruptive or on the wind up. Why create such a thread, why not create a title rival thread as City, Arsenal and Spurs are in the mix. Why just solely take aim at Chelsea.

Nil, you seriously need to stop taking shots at people who have heavily stuck up for you in the past. Otherwise there will be nobody else for you to talk to on here as most will just give up and leave as it does not reflect well for the site.

Absolutely agree with CM on this,I’ve had run in’s with Nil and also supported Him as well and for Me there was absolutely NO need for this kind of thread,Also It’s not a closed shop and anyone from Any Club can contribute to Ours and any other Teams pages as far as I know,Nil,You are going to make more enemies than friends with some of these threads/Rants,Give people a chance to express their views without resorting to Petty Mud slinging,You have actually been missed while You were away so don’t spoil it for Yourself.
