Ive read somewhere that Rossiter, Flanagan, Sinclair and Texereia are all out of contract in the summer and are free to talk to other clubs from today. How can this be allowed to happen? I understand that Sinclair will probably leave as he has appointed Aidy Ward as his agent and theyre looking for ridiculous money (plus I doubt the club will ever want to deal with Ward again) while I can understand the club waiting to see if Flanagan recovers fully before offering him a new contract but I cant fathom how Rossiter and Texereia’s contracts have been allowed to run down. Rumours that City are sniffing around Rossiter too and will only have to pay 250,000 in compensation? Is this correct?

I hope not Rocky. It’s ridiculous quite frankly if it is true. People talk about the Academy not producing enough quality players for the first team, and the ones we do have are being allowed to leave for peanuts (as has been the norm for a long while now). Personally,I’d be gutted if Rossiter and Texieira in particular are allowed to leave. They’re good players

I would be very disappointed if Flano, Rossiter and Texieira would be allowed to leave. I really hope that they will extend their contracts cause I have hight hopes for the latter two at least.

one of the most stupid decisions Liverpool has taken in recent years was selling Sterling when he had 2 years left on his contract. It made no sense, we haven´t replaced him and the manager he fell out with has been replaced.

Flanagan has signed a new contract, I got no doubt that Rossiter will sign one but Sinclair might leave, moving to City would be stupid though, he will never get into their team.

If we have made Rossiter & Flanagan contract extension offers, you have to believe they would (eventually) re-sign.

However, Teixeira is another matter. Liverpool isn’t his hometown club and he possibly hasn’t played as a starter or a sub enough for him to take a risk with his future.

Surely Sinclair has only chosen Ward to represent him as he wants to leave. What other reason would he choose to be represented by the scumbag – knowing how much trouble he caused with Sterling?
