I think you will find out that the loss is mutual. while Costa may lose his world cup place, Chelsea may lose cash and goals since we are nowhere near reaching an agreement with Lukaku and Everton.

Not overly worried about it wise fan. we’ll see what happens at the club in the coming days. Jermain defoe would get a load of goals in our side… good number two striker for us if it all goes south lukaku wise. plenty of options out there.

Not sure that I understand why you think “we are nowhere near reaching an agreement with Lukaku and Everton”

There has been nothing in the press at all from either Club and yet the player himself has made high profile comments indicating he knows where he will be playing. Apparently today, the bookies are quoting 1/10 that Lukaku will be a Chelsea player next season

Bottom line is that no one really knows but as I continue to say, Chelsea do their transfers in the correct manner and not through the papers so I am of the opinion that come July 1st you will find a couple of transfers confirmed with days. KTBFFH

So, after threatening legal action (allegedly) Costa is now preparing to hand in a transfer request. Cant wait to see the back of this guy… Fully behind Conte with this one.

Me too RDP. We should let him rot in the reserves, so he’ll miss the World Cup. Don’t mind the wages we’ll have to pay him meanwhile. It’s just become a matter of principle. He’s dragging the club through the mud atm with his vile accusations. Seriously what did he expect after his pathetic behaviour in January when the Chines club bid for him. Basically he went from being a top 3 striker in the PL to an ordinary one plus throwing his toys out of the pram, when the Chinese came calling. Of course Conte can’t rely on him with that sort of behaviour. Good riddance.
