There seems to be a complete indifference from both parties about a contract for the Head Coach going forward. Neither party is fussed about organising some discussions. Looks like a newbie in charge for next season.

Just when we appear to have a bit of stability, it’s never far from crashing down on us again. Can’t help but think what if we had signed Canos in January. His stats aren’t great, but I thought he was the best player on the pitch when we played Brentford. At least he would have brought a bit of flair. The wisdom of what if’s is easy though – the difficulty is what next! WAL

I have, in truth, not as yet recovered from my despair. I’m keeping one eye on the Monk situation but have not exactly applied my mind to the “pros and cons, ifs and buts”, as yet. The wound, after all, is still raw.

It’s a case of what one may call a prolongued state of ennui, right now. It’s happened many times previously. I’ll snap out of it sooner rather than later. I will have to snap out of it! My blood is, inevitably, saturated with all things Leeds United.

Had earmarked this day in the calendar to be one of the most important and exciting of the season. As it turns out, it has become an absolute anti-climax – a damp squib.
