I think Mourinho should swallow his pride & bring in people who show passion FOR UNITED like Giggs(in the management team) & Rooney (who can INFLUENCE the game) & keep Mata (as the PLATMAKER).

Didn’t know Mata was good at pottery, maybe he should move to Stoke 😉
Rooney, influence the game? Are you serious? Rooney whose first touch takes the ball six feet from his boots? You’re kidding?
And we all saw where Giggs’ passion for Utd got us last season, sitting in mute silence next to LVG all season.
Absolutely one of the most moronic calls I’ve seen in months.

Agree that it does not feel much like a Man Utd team at the moment, or even the club as a whole does not feel right. It would be good to have the likes of Giggs and Scholes around the place but when they have been there in the recent past it seems like they have not been listened to anyway.

I am convinced the biggest mistake Moyes did was change the coaching staff when he came in – we had an excellent structure in place which was tailor made for any manager to come in and succeed – the ship was steady and just needed any decent captain to steer it.

I’d like to have the likes of Meulensteen and Phelan back at the club however they’re both in managerial jobs right now so I doubt that would happen. I think Giggs and Scholes at the club would be good – but at youth level. They can inspire the youth players who are coming in, but senior players who have played with them may not be too inclined to have them as coaches – a coach needs to be someone you give full authority to during training sessions and being ex-players who played with quite a few of the players currently at the club would not see that respect being given in my opinion.
