Did you ever see Carragher win the EPL title? Then why is he dishing out advice on how to win it? Carragher was critical of Arsenal last night but he will never be critical of Liverpool or Klopp. It couldn’t have been any clearer at the end of last season that Liverpool needed major improvement at the back! Has Klopp addressed this??? NO! He signs Robertson from relegated Hull, but then plays Moreno at LB purely because he had a great game against Bayern in pre-season! Klopp has done nothing during the transfer window to improve LFC, so majority of responsibility lies with him! Klopp blaming everyone for dropping 2 points, apart from his defence, his tactics, his managerial “skills” and his incompetence. Carragher is the most deluded pundit out there. Until Liverpool win the EPL he should resist criticism of teams that did win it.
August 12, 2017 at 5:52 pm #1516053Agreed Warro…for a change.
August 12, 2017 at 6:07 pm #1516067Did you ever see Warro do punditry on Sky TV? Then why is he dishing out advice on how to do it?
August 12, 2017 at 6:59 pm #1516120He has a point though. They love criticising other clubs but not so fond of hammering their own. Gary Neville…best pundit by a mile. Refreshingly honest and not afraid to speak out against his own when required.
August 13, 2017 at 1:52 am #1516214Warro is a toss pot twat.
August 13, 2017 at 8:35 am #1516249Typical troll shite from warroturd
August 13, 2017 at 2:39 pm #1516375Unfair for anyone to criticise Carragher. Great one club player who won the biggest trophy of all and imo just like Neville always tells it like it is and is not afraid to criticise Klopp or Liverpool.
Liverpool might well sign VVD but as Carragher pointed out yesterday it’s a broader problem than just a signing like VVD might solve there are organisational defensive problems that go all the way back to Rodgers.
Personally I don’t think defending is Klopp’s bag and Liverpool could do with a specialist defensive Coach and they could do a lot worse than Carragher in that role imo.
August 14, 2017 at 4:46 pm #1516906The two Liverpool stooges, shanksy & whoisbeni, sound angry. I wonder why?? No trophies won in over 5 years.. Only 1 trophy won in over 11 years (a league cup against a championship club on penalties) .. No league title won for over 27 years.. Only 1 champs league title won in over 33 years.. Only finished above United in 4 of the last 27 season’s….This is what’s known as ‘The liverpool way’ .. The Trophy Dodgers aka 9THPOOL… Hilarious.
August 14, 2017 at 5:26 pm #1516936@999 – why it’s unfair to criticize Carragher?? He is a Gob sh-ite. He said Coutinho starting to ruin Liverpool reputation over Barca transfer saga… but he sees nothing wrong in Liverpool’s reputation over their pursuit of Virgil Van Dijk. Massively double standards, making himself look very silly, won’t be long before sky drop him, getting to vocal with personal opinion. Coutinho has a once in a lifetime opportunity to move to one of the biggest clubs in world football and play with the greatest ever. Coutinho knows full well he will win nothing at Liverpool whilst FSG remains in charge. He sees no investment for the Champions League as was the case for Brendan Rodgers, he watched them sanction the Suarez deal, he watched them fire Rodgers when the team was playing the best football for a decade. He played his balls off last year for a club that got beat 5 times by teams in the bottom half. He would have watched the tripe against Watford again and thought thats enough. How could you stop Coutinho from going to Barca. What does he owe to Liverpool? They get a nice fee thrown in. If Carragher been any good and Barca came knocking, he’d have jumped ship in a hearbeat.
August 14, 2017 at 7:34 pm #1517013The walking talking turd at his usual infantile shite. Carra has criticised Liverpool on many occasions you brain dead, shit stirring fuck pot. Looks like you need to take your face to the toilet again. As usual you fly high when Salford win but are nowhere to be seen when they hit the rails. The epitome of a plastic, fairweather pot of knob cheese.
August 15, 2017 at 12:35 pm #1517257TMA – Warro – If people that haven’t won certain trophies as players have no right talking about the game or giving opinion or instruction, then you are obviously of the opinion that Jose has no place in talking about football as he never even had a playing career 🙂
August 15, 2017 at 12:57 pm #1517278@Paxman – are you out of your mind? Jose has won it all… In 50 years time Jose will be remembered as the best ever football manager of all time. With the biggest ever haul of trophies known. Surpassing all the previous best ever football managers. Klopp, however …… he simply wont be remembered. Unless as a fake.
When Jose talks about football, people listens because, you know, everyone wants to know what a serial winner like Mourinho says.. Let Carargher manage a fotball team and I would take his blabbering seriously
August 15, 2017 at 1:07 pm #1517293TMA – You have yet to know what Carra will achieve, he may go into management he may not, your argument still stands that anyone who has not won the league as a player is not qualified to talk about it, then anyone who has not even played is even less qualified. So in your eyes Jose in his pre Porto days should have never been let into football management.
As far as Klopp goes, he has managed to achieve at a club which had far inferior funds than his competitor, something Jose has yet to do, all he has proven is that he is a great cheque book manager.
August 15, 2017 at 1:11 pm #1517298Can we start a twitter campaign called stop ex pros talking shit on tele… Seriously overpaid and really dont add much value at all. Carra is terrible and that accent grinds me down to knotting a noose for some asphyxiation session I want to go wrong…
August 15, 2017 at 1:17 pm #1517302RDP – If that is the case I think we would get more backing for a ‘Get Carra on tv more campaign’ 🙂
August 15, 2017 at 1:19 pm #1517305Paxman – very valid point, which I am sure TMA will address with his usual logic and wit
August 15, 2017 at 1:21 pm #1517306If Jamie Carragher who had a magnificent career at Liverpool winning every single major trophy possible bar the PL title isn’t qualified to give his opinions on football then where does that leave the rest of us??
August 15, 2017 at 1:40 pm #1517318@Paxman – Off course every pundit is entitled to their opinion.. but the way Carragher dishing out against clubs that won it, you would think he won the EPL as player and manager. As I said, let him manage a football club
As for your hilarious Klopp vs Mourinho comparison, you seem to forgot Mourinho have won the CL with Porto and Inter. Klopp got found out at Liverpool. When things weren’t going his way early on, he blamed it on Rodgers. Now he has nowhere to hide. A good coach could get amateurs to defend a corner properly. In addition, he’s a shocking role model for kids with teeth like that. The kids of Norway deserve better. On the plus side, once he gets Danny Ings back to full fitness I expect him to wrap up the league in November again and win all the cups too if Klavan and Moreno stay injury free.
August 15, 2017 at 1:41 pm #1517319999 – the players are just milking the sky cash cow, dont blame them, but do they add anything? not so sure. looks like the door handle wins tonight Paxman… You may get your wish! lol
True story, I once tried to get a few ex pros onto a channel for a world cup show. Needless to say, 32 grand for half an hours work wasnt something that the editors at the channel wanted to play ball with so dropped the show format.
August 15, 2017 at 1:49 pm #1517332Marital Aid would do it for a Mars Bar, you missed a trick there…
