Which positions does your club need to improve? Any rumors?

Man Utd, we could do with an upgrade in every position bar DDG and Pogba

Killyboye – Did you not start with 7 players that were there under Fergie against WBA? Haven’t you spent over £600M in that time, so £600M and only 4 players good enough to get into the team, that is a pretty poor record 🙂

Btwn Van Dijk for 70 mil and De Vrij for 30-35 I would choose the second!! First does not worth 70 mil at all, 40-45 maximum!!

Big purchase for Liverpool, both financially and defensively.

One giant hole filled for LFC. A massive outlay but VVD is a top CB who has yet to reach his prime. If they could sign a decent keeper followed by a defensive midfielder in January they’ll defo get top four. They’ll also stand a great chance of reaching the latter stages of the CL.

Hold on for a second. I can see the pressure on him before he steps in to Anfield. Alot will be expected from him. Since he is the most expensive defender in the world. Expect the English media to witch hunt him.😊

And i hope the Liverpool fans will not be moaning about the Chelsea and City. Now that their club is paying £75m for a player.

Liverpool did the right thing in investing in Van Dijk – whether it’s 7m or 70m is irrelevant as it’s Liverpools money to spend, similarly to how City invested heavily in multiple areas this summer.

He will definitely improve a team who’s weakest area is defence, by no means a poor decision from them. Whether the player will adapt and prove to be worth the money is a different discussion altogether.

Curious if Henderson could be out next summer? He divides opinion, can he be the driving force at a huge club like Liverpool?

Stevo, looking at it more broadly if the chasing pack want to compete with this City team then they are all going to have to considerably improve their teams/squads between now and September 1st 2018 particularly because City themselves won’t stand still either.

The PL title race is already over this season even before we welcome in the New Year which might be good for City but it’s bad for the PL.

Good luck to Liverpool on the signing of Van Dijk together with the imminent arrival of Keita sets them up nicely for a real title challenge next Season although I still think they might need to sign a reliable Keeper and a defensively sound left back.

Others in the chasing pack need to be following suit otherwise we will be back to a Manchester club dominating the PL for years to come.

Van Dijk does not cost 75 mil! After that signing I can not see Coutinhio staying at the club…

Salah, Ox and Van Dijk cost around 150 mil!!

Hard to believe that any club prepared to spend that amount for a defender when you can probably find that quality in the youth teams

Blue, the problem is managers/owners want instant success. At West Ham we are apparently interested in Alfie Mawson from Swansea who is likely to cost upwards of 15m. We have some real exciting prospects of our own, Decaln Rice, Reece Burke & Reece Oxford who play in the same position as Mawson but are a few years younger, who, given the opportunity will almost certainly develop into top players. They need a bit of time but will they be given it!?
