Looks like Adnan is coming back for the remainder of the season. On face value I am happy to hear this. I would put him straight back into the side for Mata.

My worry is how LVG will use him. Will he confuse him with many different positions or will he tell him to hug the touch line and run at players like I want him to??

It’s make or break for Adnan now. I hope he gets a good run in the side.

I’d like to see him play too. Would keep Mata in the side though, but hopefully a bit of rotation will see him get plenty of opportunities.

As you say, make or break.

Start of the season he was playing the number 10 role. He was doing well, dragging players out of position and wasn’t static like alot of our lazy players.

Unfortunately, those of you who are seeing the return of Januzaj as some sort of panacea that leads to an upsurge in form for both the player and the team are only going to end up disappointed I’m afraid.Fact is,he ain’t all that special and Dortmund have obviously concluded that they’ve seen enough of him already and have sent him back because he can’t get a start for them and there is very little prospect of him doing so.
Of course he is not without ability, but just like 90% of the players in our squad he lacks the pace, strength and general physical intensity to play a pivotal role be it either out wide or in a more central role.I suspect LvG will take another look at him during January and then he will probably end up farming him out on loan again to another English club before the window closes.

If this lad doesnt make it,it will be real shame.Looked a real talent early on in his career.

A point has just been made there that alot of us have seemed to have forgotten. I like AJ and I think he is a good prospect but the biggest issue I have with him is his lack of strength. He does need to bulk up and srengthen himself to get better I feel.

Absolute bollocks!! What is wrong with you people? This guy is slow, lethargic and has a piss poor attitude to boot. And to top it all, he can’t even get on as a sub for Dortmund. Why the hell would we be rushing to get him back into our starting eleven when Dortmund don’t want him? When will people on here give up on average players. Dear oh dear!

    Amazing isn’t it?
Social media is ablaze with ‘fans’ welcoming him back when quite clearly Dortmund didn’t want him, and UTD are therefore stuck with him until they can get rid him of permanently in the summer.
Adnan J is nothing more than an average player and certainly NOT good enough for UTD, now or in the future. He’ll probably finish up at some mediocre club in the PL, but his days at UTD are finished.
Those on here who believe that he’s got a future at OT really need to get a grip of themselves, but I suppose these are the same people who welcomed Fellaini and now want Mane.

His attitude was his failure in Dortmund. Some of the young players nowadays doesnt seem to bother once they got their contract. Cant have such players at Man United. On the other hand we have players like Jones who bother way to much and injures himself in every game. On top of that we have a manager calling Smalling Pelé,what a mess.

Janusaj is mediocre…so are a lot of players in the current team…to be honest only Martial DDG Schneiderlin worth keeping. And many players we have been linked to are also mediocre. The rest are with RM/BM/Barca. Won’t come.
